This residential construction contract in Harwich, Essex, involved the conversion, adaptation and refurbishment of the former Harwich International Customs Office into 34 apartments with 1 to 3 bedrooms. There were extensive alterations and demolitions including the removal of a built-in reinforced concrete vault and a large incinerator.
