Andrew Porcas

Andrew is the Managing Estimator at Horizon Construction and a member of the Leadership Team. As a degree qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and with over 30 years of experience in quantity surveying and estimating, his expertise and knowledge at the front-end of the business are beneficial to our clients and delivering exceptional construction solutions.

Andrew is responsible for the estimating function and team, and works closely with the Directors and other departments on the submission of pricing requests and tenders. With a central business ethos of building strong relationships, Andrew is an important liaison with supply chains, external consultants and clients during the initial stages of construction projects. His natural enthusiasm for due diligence within the estimating process ensures all pricing is competitive, cost-effective, robust and compliant with the requirements for each client and project.

Joining Horizon Construction in 2019, Andrew has taken a key role in enhancing the group’s existing reputation in construction and customer service, along with securing new business enquiries and opportunities.

Outside of work, Andrew keeps himself busy with DIY projects at home, attends the local health club to keep fit and likes to relax in the company of his family and friends.
