Oliver Backhouse

Oliver holds the role of Managing Surveyor which oversees the projects of the commercial team and reports to the board of directors. He ensures all procedures and processes are followed and the financial objectives in each construction project are achieved for both the business and the client. Clients and peers respect Oliver’s attention to detail and professionalism.

After joining Horizon Construction in 2015 as an experienced Quantity Surveyor, Oliver was promoted to Managing Surveyor in 2019. In his previous employment, he was a management trainee and is now an experienced and highly valued member of Horizon Construction’s leadership team.

Oliver has a BSc in Construction Management (Commercial).
