Winner of RoSPA Health and Safety Award 2022

Horizon Construction is thrilled to receive another RoSPA Health and Safety Award. This year’s RoSPA Silver Award is the third consecutive achievement and demonstrates, through independent assessment, high Health and Safety standards in construction.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a charity that works with organisations in the UK and around the world to implement best practices to prevent accidents at work. Winners of the internationally-recognised RoSPA Award are recognised as being world leaders in Health and Safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants aim to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.

Phil Holding, Horizon Construction’s Managing Director, said: “The achievement and recognition by RoSPA of our Health and Safety practices are crucial in ensuring we are up-to-date and implementing the latest methods in safeguarding our employees and people working on our construction sites. The health, safety and well-being of our people are at the forefront of everything we do. This also demonstrates to our clients, along with the use of other industry-recognised frameworks such as ISO, that we have everyone’s best interests in mind and aspire to be a leader in our field for high-quality construction practices.

Mr Holding continues: “This achievement does not occur without an unwavering commitment from our team, so I would like to pay particular thanks to our team for their hard work. We are all very proud of the recognition by RoSPA and being part of a highly esteemed awards community.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, said: “This is a fantastic and well-deserved accomplishment. All our award entrants demonstrate their unwavering commitment and passion for keeping people safe at work. By receiving this recognition, Horizon Construction joins like-minded businesses and organisations worldwide, who represent the very best in their approach to Health and Safety. I would like to add my personal thanks for all the work that it has taken to secure this well-deserved award – congratulations to all those involved, who champion and drive up Health and Safety standards every day. You are a fantastic example to others in your sector.”
