Collaboration with Colchester Institute on Queen Street project for Colchester City Centre.

In January, students from Colchester Institute’s Level 3 Photography class attended the ground breaking ceremony for the project at The Old Bus Depot in Queen Street, Colchester.  The ceremony was attended by Colchester City Council’s Leader, We Are Colchester, Inkpen Downie, Daniel Connal Partnership and Colchester Amphora Trading Ltd . Each student took a different staged image, including different members from the project team. Managing Director Phil Holding ‘It was great to see the students take charge and direct the photos, we are pleased to welcome other professions into the industry and give them as much experience as possible working in the construction sector’. Due to the completed project being for the creative industries,  it was important to involve the future digital generation in this project.

The four students taking part on the Level 3 photography course at Colchester Institute included: Sarah Cakebread, Lily Campin, Holly Clarke and Maisie Sewell who have taken a great selection of photographs on the day. A selection of their photos are included below.
