Andrew Porcas joins as Managing Estimator

We are delighted to announce that Andrew Porcas joins our construction team as Managing Estimator. A degree qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with over 30 years of experience in quantity surveying and estimating, he brings additional expertise and knowledge at the front-end of the business for delivering exceptional solutions to our clients.

Based in the Colchester office, his role is to manage the estimating function and team, working with the Directors and other colleagues on the submission of pricing requests and tenders.  With a central business ethos of building strong relationships, Andrew will be a critical liaison with supply chains, external consultants and clients during the initial stages of construction projects.

Andrew’s natural enthusiasm for due diligence within the estimating process will ensure all pricing is competitive, cost-effective, robust and compliant with the requirements for each client and project. As part of the growth ambitions of the group and enhancing our existing reputation in construction and customer service, he will be determined at securing new business enquiries and opportunities.

Phil Holding, Managing Director at Horizon Construction, said: “We are really pleased that Andrew has joined our team. Undoubtedly, our clients and our construction group will benefit from his experience and expertise. He will be a key member within our construction process and team, which together are dedicated at meeting the expectations of our clients.”

Andrew said: “I would like to thank my new team for their warm welcome and very much look forward to sharing future success with them.”
