BMW Dealership, Hindhead, Surrey
The construction of a bespoke BMW and MINI Sales and Aftersales Dealership in Hindhead, Surrey, for Group 1 Automotive.
This £7.2m project involved constructing a facility that fulfilled the detailed specifications and requirements of the BMW and MINI automotive brands. The project was managed on the client’s behalf by Bruce Shaw, Taylor Design Architects excelled with their architectural package, D&d Building Services Consulting Engineers provided an excellent M&E package, and MNP produced a solid engineering solution to what, in many cases, was a complex project incorporating a basement construction on the boundary to the A3.
Jaguar Land Rover Dealership, Southend-on-Sea, Essex
One of our flagship automotive projects, involving the construction of a new £7.5m showroom and aftersales facility for Group 1 Automotive.
The project was managed by John Burke Associates and K2 Project Management. SRA Architects provided another high-quality architectural design. Eastwood & Partners oversaw the engineering solutions and D&d Building Services Consulting Engineers implemented the M&E design.
Mercedes Benz & Harley Davidson Dealerships, Lakeside, Essex
A combined £3.1m Design and Build contract involved a new bespoke retail, showroom and service facility for Harley Davidson and the conversion and extension of their former site to create a new sales and aftersales facility for Mercedes Benz. Construction partners included SRA Architects and Underwood Carpenter Project Management.
Porsche Dealership, London
A bespoke £5.7m showroom and aftersales facility for Porsche in Sidcup, South London. At the time, it was the largest project that Horizon Construction had undertaken, which demonstrated the successful working relationship we had developed with the client, Jardine Motors Group. Having placed trusted in us, we delivered the project on time, to budget, and to high-quality standards. Construction partners included SRA Architects and K2 Project Management.
Ferrari & Maserati Aftersales Facility, Colchester, Essex
Design and Build contract to create a £1.7m extension to an existing Porsche aftersales facility. The original Porsche facility launched our involvement in the automotive sector and marked the beginning of a longstanding trusted relationship with the client. Construction partners included Axis 3 Architects and K2 Project Management.
