Horizon Construction is delighted to showcase the construction of a modern care home in West Hill, Dartford. The project delivered an expertly considered care home in both design and delivery, meeting the requirements of our client and end-users.
Built upon the former site of West Hill Hospital, which was demolished in 2001, the new 5-storey healthcare facility includes a basement, 78 bedrooms, dementia care, cinema, hair salon and social spaces. The works involved permanent sheet pile ground retention and 3 traditional masonry construction levels. The project was carefully and considerately managed close to a residential housing area.
Upon completion, our client said:
