The project in Woodbridge, Suffolk, involved the construction of a modern, high specification two-storey 55-bed care home (“Cavell Manor Care Home”), with a basement housing the ‘back of house’ kitchen, laundry, plant room and welfare spaces, as well as a large cinema room and hair salon. Within the grounds of the new care home for Angel Care, the project included the development of two 2-bed houses and six apartments designed and conditioned for sale to the over 50s.
The build was a traditional masonry structure with concrete floors and timber trussed roof, along with extensive external works, landscaped gardens and external leisure space.
