A team from Horizon Construction were delighted to take part in a special corporate golf day organised by and to raise money for St Helena.
St Helena is a charity which helps people face incurable illness and bereavement, supporting them and their families, friends and carers.
The event took place at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa in Colchester, Essex, where 7 teams competed. This event raised over £1,600 to fund sessions of St Helena’s Breathlessness Clinic, which is a weekly group for patients who need specialist support with their breathlessness due to illness.
Needless to say, our team had a lot of fun on and off the golf course, whilst raising money for this valuable charity. We look forward to the next fundraising event.
