COVID-19 statement (January 2021) from Horizon Construction’s Managing Director, Phil Holding, on construction operations, following the Government’s announcement of a new national lockdown.
We are all together in these challenging times. The Government’s announcement this week of a new national lockdown until at least mid-February is another signal we are not yet close to the end of a highly worrying and unsettling period in our lives. We are all consumed in trying to manage a continuously evolving way of life to protect everyone from an unforgiving virus.
Protecting our staff and construction sites (including surrounding areas for the general public) have been high priorities throughout the pandemic. Our site and office operating procedures have been continuously updated to reflect new guidelines and requirements. The strict protocols surrounding our operating standards and controls have enabled us to react quickly to changes. The impact of new national lockdown has been no different. We have learnt and developed a lot since the first national lockdown.
Our team remains operational and working as normal. Regardless of their individual locations, our staff are equipped and able to provide a seamless and professional service to handle all enquiries.
